Creative sketchbook and final sketch challenge: interpret a theme, explore alternatives, experiment, refine, execute and explain.
Registration closes 10/11/2026
Register for ImaginariumImaginarium is an individual, live sketch challenge. Students respond to an organizer-issued theme through idea mapping, visual exploration, sketch development, experimentation, refinement, a final sketch and a concise creative explanation.
Imaginarium rewards the creative process, not only the beauty of the final sketch. Judges assess how the student interprets a theme, generates alternatives, explores visual possibilities, makes intentional design choices, refines the work and explains the final creative decision. A technically polished drawing is not automatically the strongest entry — high performance requires evidence of interpretation, ideation, exploration, purposeful design, refinement and communication.
theme interpretation → visual research and ideation → experimentation and composition → final sketch → creative rationale and presentation. Recommended controlled live duration is approximately 150–180 minutes of creative work followed by a short presentation and verification window.
C21 Creative Thinking, C22 Artistic Expression, C23 Design & Aesthetic Thinking and C25 Creative Communication are the core competencies. C24 Cultural Expression is conditional, assessed only when the selected theme genuinely requires cultural or contextual interpretation.
PKR 1,000 per student, subject to organizer approval.
